God
We believe there is only one true, living eternal God that exists in three persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(John 10:30; John 1:1; Revelation 1:8; John 17:3)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father through a virgin birth
by divine conception.
(Colossians 1:15; John 1:14; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18–25)
Holy Spirit
We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, that He dwells in each follower of Jesus Christ.
We believe the Holy Spirit equips and guides believers as they transform into becoming Christ-like.
(2 Corinthians 3:17; 1 Corinthians 3:16; John 4:24)
The Bible
We believe that all Scripture is God-breathed and infallible. It is to be used for teaching,
empowering, guidance, and building of faith.
(2 Timothy 3:16; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 10:17)
Salvation
We believe salvation is only available through Jesus Christ. His death, burial, and resurrection
were for the purpose of reconciling man back to the Father after the fall of man. This reconciliation
is by faith, not works. Jesus was crucified on a cross, buried in a tomb, and raised from the dead,
and man is saved by believing in his heart and confessing with his mouth.
(Genesis 3:1–24; John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9–10)
Baptism
We believe baptism helps believers identify with Jesus Christ as He led by example on earth.
We believe it is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection into a new life through Jesus Christ,
giving believers a sense of a fresh start and new life.
(Matthew 3:13–17; Romans 6:3–4; Galatians 3:27)
Communion
We believe in communion to be taken in remembrance of the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
Communion is to be taken as often as a believer desires to partake.
(Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
Eternity
We believe in eternity in heaven or eternity in hell. Salvation through Christ leads us to eternity
with God; otherwise, we are forever separated from God.
(Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:11–15; John 3:16)
Five-Fold Ministry
We believe in the five-fold ministry offices of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.
We believe these offices are appointed by Jesus Christ and mandated to equip the saints for the work
of ministry and the building of the body of Christ.
(Ephesians 4:11–13)
Spiritual Gifts
We believe spiritual gifts have been given to all believers. Spiritual gifts are to be used to lead,
serve, encourage, edify, guide, care for others, and demonstrate the power of God.
(1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Romans 12:6–8; 2 Timothy 1:6)
